Follow your inner promptings

Follow inner promptings and not following your head and discipline are some of the best insights I had recently. I just realised how much of my ideas I have been following instead of following the magic that is being created moment to moment.

From finishing my book Bli in norwegian in 2014, to where I am now ( I will translate that book by the way to English), I am making up concepts these days, that best illustrates what I do and how I help people. Sometimes I will write something in norwegian (sorry English speaking people), but most of the time I will write in English. I might do podcast or videos in Norwegian, and this is what I am inspired to go about it now anyways, but I do want communicate in both languages.

The mission and vision around this is that I want people to feel more ok within themselves in the world, free from worrying/fear/anxiety, and stress. So they can have more exciting lives, and have fun, and be as creative as possible, to create whatever they want in life, become great listeners, and great connectors in this world. I want people to follow their inner promptings, their passions, and intuition more, and see where it leads to.

People tend to create something up in their mind, planning, and make up their mind about something, before they attend a meeting, instead of listening more deeply to what they are really wondering about, and take the guard down, not worry, and see what comes out of them.

Its better to follow your inner promptings than using willpower, discipline and ideas in your head, and three good ideas related to this.

What I mean is that sometimes we forget to have fun in our work and we are too much up in our head when it comes to task and being good. While we instead could yes to that lunch with a friend, or that drink after workout in the evening. Do something that gives something back to your soul is the message her. Instead of investing in our wellbeing, we delay our pleasuring and fun activities.

Often we dont see when we are making up something from our own mind, because we are too close to ourselves. We dont see when we are trying to be good and trying to live up to someone else’s expectations.

When we are really in the moment, and take things as they come, we often do much better. Its nothing wrong with a good plan or structure, just dont get to attached to it.

What we call hard work, like sales calls, writing and producing something of value, getting good meetings and so forth, can be effortless and come from a different place inside of you. Dont work “hard” in your own mind, that’s where we need to be slowing down and relax, and get more into a flow state.

What I mean by that is whenever we hold on something to tight or thinking about the outcome more than enjoying yourself, then we are in the wrong direction. Hard work could be, writing something an article, selling, be in contact with clients, network events, writing ebook, whatever it is, you probably have better examples than me, shoot them over when you have to my email 😀. All these “hard” activities are meant to be fun. The more we are enjoying ourselves the better we do. Having fun with client creation for example is a Course I am creating these days, it will happen asap, but it will be fun.

Dont stress yourself out and listen to your body and wisdom

Listening skills are so important and not only with people but also to yourself. Checking in with ourselves, how are we feeling right now? Being in the moment or forget about time, while we trust our instincts to tell us when we need to be somewhere. We can lose ourselves to the moment more, and that is the true gift of life. Dont be afraid of time, just enjoy the process.

I like to play with concepts these days and showing you guys bits by bits of my life, so hopefully you find my content whatever it is hyper relevant to your life, or find it resonating on a deeper level.
