THE TRANSFORMATIVE POWER OF INVESTING IN A COACH (include a picture)
Embracing the transformative power of investing in a coach has been a profound journey for me, one that echoes the inspiring words of my coach, Karen Davis:
“I take risks because I am betting on me. I have the inner confidence to know that I will deliver a return on my investment.”
This sentiment, captured in the book “When All Boats Rise: 12 Coaches on Service as the Heart of a Thriving Practice,” resonates deeply with my own experiences.
Over the years, I’ve committed to self-improvement through various coaching avenues–from the Eirik G Olsen School in Norway to Pransky & Associates, Rohini Ross, Angus, and Steve Chandler’s ACS online course. Each investment has contributed to my growth, with Karen Davis emerging as the linchpin in this transformative journey.
It’s crucial to recognize that investing in a coach is not a mere cost, but a strategic investment. This distinction is paramount, as the aim is to reap visible and invisible returns. My partnership with Karen has proven to be the most significant investment thus far, catalyzing profound changes in my life.
Following my Two-day Accelerator with Karen last year, I underwent a remarkable transformation, particularly in the realm of relationships. Since the passing of my father a couple of years ago, I had unintentionally retreated from my relationship with my mother and sister. These are the two people I’m closest to in the world.
Upon my return to Oslo from the United States, my first call was to my mother to share all the insights I had gained from my work with Karen over the two days. My mother cried. I cried. My next call was with my sister. This type of impact is priceless.
Shortly after that, my return on investment became tangible, and my renewed outlook on life has propelled me to new heights. The thorough exploration of various aspects of my life during our two days, from my 2024 business forecast to my Coaching School curriculum, attachment styles, the creation of my Document, and more, surpassed my expectations.
Karen’s dedication and inspiration were palpable, creating an environment that fueled growth. We delved into the intricacies of financial security, realizing that it emanates from within. This profound realization has simplified my journey as a creator.
In conversations with fellow coaches, entrepreneurs, and travelers, I often need to provide clarification about investing in coaching before achieving financial stability. The misconception that safety stems from financial security hinders tangible results. Personally, hiring George Pransky and now Karen Davis was driven by a belief in my ability to create wealth along the way.
In the coaching profession, self-belief is paramount. The emphasis is on the present moment, trusting in our innate ability as born creators. This mindset diminishes the perceived risks, paving the way for nonlinear productivity and unleashing our true potential. As discussed in the book When All Boats Rise, money is viewed as energy, flowing effortlessly when aligned with our passions.
Investing in a coach is not merely a financial decision; it’s a commitment to self-discovery, growth, and the unwavering belief that the returns will manifest within and beyond the realms of visibility.
